Letter 3-26-18

Well everyone, for my last transfer, I'll be going to West Richland! I'm super nervous, but it'll be good! Then I could say that I experienced all three parts of the tri-cities!

I'm really sad to leave, but I guess God's got a different plan for me. :)

This week, on Saturday, we went to a youth Easter Program called He is Jesus Christ with two of our investigators, it was so awesome!!! They sang the new youth song called "There is Peace in Christ”, it was amazing! We all loved it!

I'm so excited for General Conference this Saturday and Sunday!

Yesterday, at church was awesome!!!!
We learned about gifts of the spirit! We all have them! :)
We also learned about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how Christ and His atonement makes salvation possible! :)
Also learned that the purpose of falling is so that we can learn to pick ourselves up and to use our resources to do so and then to help others up after they fall as well. :)
To LOOK forward to the lessons that will be learned from the trials in our lives.

Then in Young Women's we learned that:
Saints can be happy under every circumstance. It matters what we focus on in our lives, not what circumstance we are in.
Joy is a gift for the faithful!
LOOK to Christ and you'll find more joy

Anyways, I love all of you so much! You're all amazing!

There is so much power in prayer, never forget that!

Today, was a blessing for me and my whole family they would say! We all got to chat, one with another, as a big family! #soneeded #blessed!

Also, found out that my little sister put in her mission papers on my 16th month mark!!! (on March 16th!!!!))) It's crazy awesome!

Also, after emailing today, I have to start My Plan, which is crazy! It's something that we do to help missionaries prepare to go home! It's crazy that we are already getting there! Sisters from my MTC group we've made it this far! Elders, from our MTC group, you keep going! We will cheer for you! You got this! :) <3

This week I've finished Believing Christ by Stephen E Robinson which I would invite everyone to read it! It's the best!!! It helped my testimony grow so much! And I know it will help your testimony grow as well!
Here's a few things that I've found from that book:
# However low we may fall, our Redeemer has already been there, and he went there for the sole purpose of finding and bringing us lost sheep back. (Jesus talking to us) "I know where you are; I've been where you are-and worse than that. I know what you're feeling, for I have felt it. I remember my own pain when I went through it, and my heart aches for you. But I want you back, I'll even carry you back, if you'll let me."
# (poem in the book, us with the Savior)
But why would You do this for me?
      Because I love you.
But it doesn't seem fair.
That's right. It's not fair at all-it's merciful.
It is, after all, a gift.
But how can I possibly deserve such a gift?
Don't be silly. You can't. You don't. This gift is offered because I love you and want to help you, not because I owe it to you
But how can I ever repay You?
There you go again. Don't you get it yet? You can't repay me, not you or all the billions
like you. Gifts of this magnitude can never be repaid. For what I've done out of love for you, you can only love me back, and seek to become what I am- a giver of good gifts.

I love you all so much! Never forget that God loves you too! :) I hope that you all have a great week! :) <3

Love forever and always,

The District moved the wood behind them. We really appreciate the work of Sister McKnight.
Thank you for sending her to us.

Letter 3-12-18

Hello family and friends!

While this week wasn't the best week of missionarying, it was full of service and adventures with getting lost on foot, sense we have no car. We also slightly ran away from a creepy old woman that yelled, "HEY YOU, COME HERE!" that led us to a changing table with a huge diaper and pj's on it...... haha yeah, it traumatized me a bit.. :P haha

During church there were two questions that came up that are good to ponder on:
1.) How has God supported you in your trials?
2.) When was a time, when there was no doubt that God was there and loved you?
I would invite you to write these questions and answer them in your journal! Also, if you'd like to share with me, i'd love to read of your experiences! :)

For, me, I've only had time to answer question one, so here is my answer. :)
1.) For me, the family He has put me in and those friends, that I'm around help me know and feel Gods support, care, and love when I go through hard things. Also, when I've received Priesthood blessings in hard times. I can feel Him loving and supporting me in my decisions at that time and point in my life. He's never just left me alone to fall, but He's there when I fall and is there to help me up. He's never turned His back on me. I can always rely on Him.

Just remember, that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you so much! They are always there for you no matter what!

Mosiah 2:41 - Those who keep His commandments, are blessed in ALL things. LOOK for them, write them down, share them, that way you can see His hand in your daily life. :)

I love you all!

Letter 3-5-18

Well this week was pretty awesome!

One night as we were walking home there was a man that was fast walking, that did a double check at us. I noticed and so I made sure that he knew that we knew and so I said "Hello!" and he was like... "ARE YOU MISSIONARIES?!"  after we said yes he ran over and we started to talk and we set up a lesson with him at the church building on Tuesday, had another lesson of Thursday, then invited him to church, and he came! :)

So yesterday at church, we had two investigators come to church, and it was pretty awesome! Almost everyone's testimonies were on the Holy Ghost, which was perfect for our two investigators that came to church yesterday! :)

We are also teaching and inactive families daughter who isn't baptized yet! We put her on date for March 24th last week, and we hope that she'll be able to make it to that date, which her parents involved, hoping that her father could baptize her. :)

Some cool things I learned at church yesterday:
@ God is no respecter of persons- He doesn't care who you are, just who is turning in the right direction.
@ Love people for who they are
@ LOOK up and LOOK out

(LAST SUNDAY):
# I give you these trials so your faith can become stronger, so you can help those around you.
# You can overcome it, God won't put thins in your way to crush you.
# Anything is possible with determination and help from our Heavenly Father.

INSIGHTS FROM MY JOURNAL:
* "Nevertheless [fill in your name] thou knowest the greatness of God; and he shall consecrate thine afflictions for they gain." 2Nephi 2:2
* Having a belief is enough
* He hears everyone of your prayers
* LOOK to God and live
* "If he willingly sacrifices all that he has, he shall find that he has enough" Jesus The Christ
* "And i will also be your light in the wilderness; and I will prepare the way before you, if it so be that ye shall keep my commandments; wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall be led towards [what you are searching for in your life] and ye shall know that it is my me that ye are led." 1 Nephi 17:13

I love you all so much! And no that you all are in my prayers and that God does hear and answer every child's prayer, in His own way and time. :) I know that God loves each and every single one of you and knows what you're going through.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Love you!!!
