Letter 3-27-17

So this week has been crazy! So last email, I said that we got to do a church tour with Marsha and how she had a good thought about getting baptized but didn't know what day.  But then we visited her again, this last Tuesday and we brought up her baptism and then I said " so we have three dates that you can get baptized: April 8th, 15th, 22nd, which one is your baptismal date?" and she said " well I have to change some things, so April 15th sounds good. " :) We were internally screaming with joy! :P We were so proud of her because we had asked 2 times before and she said no and she said yes this time! :) So I really appreciate all of your prayers, they can and do make a difference! :) You are all amazing and the best ever!

Also this last Saturday, was the General Women's Broadcast! And guess who came???........ Janelle!!!!!! She came to the ice cream social before and then to the Conference/ broadcast! It was amazing! It was just what I needed to hear and she loved it! And the members of the Pasco 6th ward are amazing fellow shippers! They are the best! So one thing that I would invite all of you to do is go up to someone either you don't know well or don't know at all in church and introduce yourself and become their friend, it will make their day. :)

But other than that, this week has been a roller coaster because my companion, Sister Passey has not been feeling well and the doctors 'think' it might be her ears and she might have some type of vertigo, but they and we are not 100% sure.... so yeah.

Anyways, one thing I learned from Sister Hanks, one of my Sister Training Leaders as we talked and I reflected, is that I do have faith.  I have a lot more faith than I think.  Because "Faith is Trust- trust that God sees what we cannot and that He knows what we do not." ~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf    I had faith that God will protect my family while i left for my mission.  I have faith that when I open my mouth, he will fill it. :)

You all have enough faith. :) You just need to step back and look and "Cast not away therefore your confidence" ~ Hebrews 10:35. :) <3 It took 19 years for me to recognize that I have faith, so much more faith than I realize.  And that, was a tender mercy or gift that Heavenly Father gave me this week. :)

What were some Tender mercies that you have noticed this week? Please share! :)

Also I wanted to say thank you to my family for the Easter Package I got. :) We loved it! :) Thank you both Grandma McKnight and Grandma Lofgreen for your letters. :) They make me happy.

I hope all is well for you.  You are in my prayers. :) <3

Never forget that " He is in the detail of [your] lives, especially when things seem to be going wrong all around [you].... Christ's light can shine brightly through the thickness of any trial or tragedy because He has overcome it all." ~ Chris Deaver.

Love you all, Always and Forever,
